Welcome to my inaugural blog, where I embark on a journey of self-expression, deepening my own knowledge and raising awareness on the topic of Change leadership.
I have used the ‘Mobius strip’ as a powerful metaphor to share my personal journey and also link it back to the broader concept that this enigmatic geometric shape has to offer. The blog expands on my reflections and lessons learnt during the transition from corporate to entrepreneurship.

What is a Mobius Strip
Mobius strip with only one-side and one-edge is often used for various concepts, including the continuous loops of learning & reflection, integration of the opposites, and infinite possibilities. It is created by taking a strip of paper, giving it a half-twist, and then joining the ends together. The outcome is a continuous loop where one-side seamlessly blends into the other without any breaks.
Relating the Mobius Strip to my personal journey:
- Continuous loops of learning and reflection: The mobius strip represents a journey that continuously loops back onto itself. Action initiates change taking us into the future. However, action alone is not enough. Without reflection, our actions lack direction and purpose. Reflections allow us to make sense of our experiences and extract meaningful insights. Similarly, my journey of corporate life and entrepreneurship are to be seen as a continuous loop of learning which is intertwined.
- Integration of Opposites: Just like the mobius strip is basically an integration of opposites, similarly my transition is a fusion of seemingly contradictory elements, an integration of opposites. In the corporate world, I adhered to established protocols, and ways of working seemingly as a way for maintaining stability. The journey of entrepreneurship on the other hand pushes you out of your comfort zone, and is filled with freedom, creativity and self-direction. Integration of these opposites has provided me with a fresh perspective and is still a work in progress!!
- Infinite possibilities: The seemingly simple yet complex structure embodies the concept of infinite possibilities. Progress is not a straight line and I experienced unexpected twists and turns. Embracing the concept of infinite possibilities has empowered me to approach life with open mind, embracing change as a catalyst for growth rather than a source of fear.
I am reminded of the Möbius strip’s enduring message: that within every twist and turn lies the potential for boundless exploration and discovery.

The mobius strip serves as a reminder that life is not a straight line, but rather a dynamic and ever evolving journey filled with endless possibilities. Reflecting on the mobius strip, I am stuck by its profound symbolism.
